Day 01
Arrival
Welcome to Almaty
Arrive and settle into the cultural capital of Kazakhstan.
Morning
Arrive at Almaty International Airport. Warm meet & greet by our professional guide. Private transfer to your selected hotel.
Afternoon
Check-in at the hotel. Free time to relax after your journey or take a gentle stroll to explore the nearby neighbourhood.
Evening
Discover the local dining scene at your leisure. Dinner at a restaurant of your choice (own expense).
Day 02
City Heritage
Grand Almaty City Tour
Iconic monuments, grand squares, and timeless architecture.
Morning
Guided City Tour: Visit the majestic Republic Square and the towering Monument of Independence. See the Palace of the President, then walk through 28 Panfilov Park to admire the stunning wooden Zenkov Cathedral. Continue to the President's Park.
Afternoon
Lunch at a restaurant of your choice (own expense). Free time to explore the city centre, visit local cafés, or browse nearby shops.
Evening
Dinner at your leisure (own expense). Return to hotel.
Day 03
Mountains
Medeo, Shymbulak & Kok Tobe
Alpine heights, fresh mountain air, and panoramic sunsets.
Morning
Scenic drive to the Medeo Gorge. Witness the world's highest ice-skating rink (1691m) surrounded by towering fir trees and dramatic alpine peaks. Enjoy easy hiking and breathtaking photo opportunities in the national park.
Afternoon
Gondola Experience: Ride the thrilling cable car to Shymbulak Ski Resort. Cross all three phases to reach approximately 3300m for sweeping views of the Trans-Ili Alatau range. Descend for lunch (own expense).
Evening
Ascend Kok Tobe Mountain (1100m above sea level). Enjoy the popular recreation park with its sweeping cityscape views. A perfect spot for sunset photos. Dinner at your own expense. Return to hotel.
Day 04
Canyon
Charyn Canyon Expedition
Walk through 12 million years of geological history.
Full Day
Early departure (approx. 200 km from Almaty) to Charyn Canyon, the second-largest canyon in the world. Carved over 12 million years, these dramatic red and ochre sandstone cliffs form the famous "Valley of Castles."
Walk through incredible erosion formations and keep an eye out for rare, endangered species listed in the Red Book. Enjoy a scenic packed lunch box amidst the towering natural sculptures.

Crafts & Falcons
Qazaq Oner & Falconry Show
Ancient artisan traditions and the thrilling art of Kazakh falconry.
Morning
Visit the Qazaq Oner Craft Center—an educational, cultural, and entertainment hub where you can explore authentic Kazakh artisan products and even try your hand at creating them. From traditional textiles to intricate jewellery, this immersive experience brings the nomadic heritage alive.
Afternoon
Lunch (own expense). Then head to the Alma-Arasan Gorge for a spectacular visit to a traditional Falcon Farm. Witness a mesmerising live falconry show with specially trained hawks and eagles. Hunting with birds of prey is one of the most unique and treasured features of the Kazakh way of life.
Evening
Dinner at a restaurant of your choice (own expense). Return to hotel.

Early morning departure for a full-day excursion to two of Central Asia's most spectacular natural treasures.
Kolsai Lakes — A series of three stunning alpine lakes tucked deep in the folds of the Northern Tien Shan mountains, often called the "Pearls of the Tien Shan." Surrounded by dense spruce forests and lush meadows, their crystal-clear turquoise waters reflect the sky in every shade of blue.
Lake Kaindy — One of Kazakhstan's most photographed wonders. Formed by an earthquake in 1911, this hauntingly beautiful lake is famous for its submerged spruce trees rising from the emerald-green waters like ghostly towers. Enjoy a scenic hike to the shore and soak in the otherworldly atmosphere.

Check-out and airport transfer.
